Christmas Party Season 2018

Firstly, I just want to say sorry (again) for missing a post last week! I had all intents on scheduling this one but I’ve been quite poorly last week and this week so haven’t been too focused on blogging. I’ve been more focused on sleep and fluids! So here we are, a little later than I had planned but this is my Christmas party blog, enjoy!

This is literally my absolute favourite time of the year. I love everything festive, fun and sparkly so of course I love Christmas Parties!  I was lucky enough this year to attend two with my employer. I thought I would take the chance to show you in a blog post my outfit and makeup choices for these festive occasions!

Party Number 1 – Friday 7th December

This was a party held for the whole of the business – all offices were invited. Only 3 of us from my office decided to attend as the journey was 2 hours to Swansea and 2 hours home. We got a bus from Fishguard, picked up people in Carmarthen and then made our way to the venue. Our party this year was held in The Beach Hut at Mumbles, Swansea.

I decided to wear this green, velvet, long sleeve, off the shoulder midi dress (Pretty Little Thing). Paired with a pair of black heels and a black bag. It’s not my usual style of dress and I was definitely wearing my sucky-in pants but I think I liked it.

As my dress was green I decided to go for a red makeup look. I couldn’t decide if I wanted to go statement red lip or incorporate red into my eye look. (Excuse the VERY drunk picture of my eyes – it’s the only one I have showing my full eye look!)

Party Number 2 – Friday 14th December

This was a party held just for my office in the business. More or less all of us attended this one. It was organised by me, which was incredibly stressful but I think (I hope) everyone enjoyed and it was a super successful night. The venue this time was Crug Glas near St Davids. One thing I love about our office parties is that our partners get to come so I had Ieuan with me this night!

I bought this gorgeous (pictures don’t do it justice!) navy, sparkly skater dress (Shein) months before December and loved it so much. I paired this with a pair of white shoes and an equally sparkly bag. I was so happy with this look. As the dress was blue I wanted to go for an orange look and I knew this was going to be incorporated in my eyes paired with a nude lip:-
