Happy Blog-aversary to me!
I have officially been blogging for a whole year! It’s hard to believe but I have done it. I was so sceptical about starting this blog because I was concerned what people would think and whether I would be able to keep up with what I had to write and all of those trivial things.
I literally had such a lull a few weeks ago I almost considered deleting my blog completely. I felt like I was was
When in reality all I had to worry about was ME. I really enjoy posting to my blog and recently have even upped by game and started posting twice a week, fortnightly. I don’t plan on stopping any time soon.
I had a bit of a down moment a few weeks ago where I thought ‘why am I bothering’. I will be the first to admit that I am not a popular blogger and not many people read my posts. I had a moment where I was like ‘why am I paying money and wasting time and effort posting a blog that no one gives a shit about?!’ but I then snapped back to reality and thought about those few of you that do read my blogs. I appreciate every single one of you. Whether you read my blogs weekly, only read ones you fancy or have searched for something and my blog has been stumbled on.
Not to mention that I enjoy coming back and reading my own blog posts and remembering the trips I’ve taken and the things I’ve done. This blog shouldn’t be about who reads or doesn’t read it, it should be about me and if I enjoy doing it I am not going to stop. It’s a hobby that I enjoy doing and if I ever stop enjoying it then I will stop.
I am really hoping to invest in a new laptop this year or next year so that I can do a bit more and do it a lot quicker than what I can do now on my current laptop.
Sorry for the slight ramble in this post, I wanted to do this post but wasn’t really sure how to go about it. So there it was a short but sweet ramble!
To those of you that do read my blog, for my blog-aversary please let me know what your favourite post has been? and what would you like to see me write about in my next year of blogging? I would really appreciate your feedback!
Thanks for reading.
