Face mask collection

Oh my last post of my collection series 😦 I hope you have enjoyed reading what I have in my collection! Let me know what you thought of my series and if you’d be interested in something similar again, when things have changed a little.

As you can see by the title I will be showing you what I have in my face mask box. Face masks are one of my favourite things. I love them. Usually do them in the morning before a night out, if I feel like I need a little pick me up or with my older sister.  I don’t typically use them to give my skin some TLC but of course they do provide that and they usually work well on my skin!

7th Heavens masks

I think that’s what the brand is called! These are the typical starter, girls sleepover face masks. They’re the first masks I ever used and now and again it’s really nice to return to them. They all smell amazing. I think with these ones I do prefer a peel-off as it’s just so much less effort than a wash off one. I find peeling these off a lot more gentle than some of the other masks I’ve tried, which I think is good but then again does that mean they don’t really do much?

Dr.Jart+ Shake & Shot

I did not purchase this one, I got it in my Glossybox. I haven’t tried it but I am super interested to see what it’s like. It’s such a weird component I think, and I feel like I haven’t got round to using it because you have to make it and shake it. But again, when I have the time to just relax I will be giving this a go!

Glam Glow

I got these three in a set from my sister for Christmas and I was SO excited. I have heard a lot about this brand and when I saw I had it I was thrilled. The two in the tubes are peel off brightening masks and go on your face bright pink with glitter and bright purple and I love it! They smell incredible too. I think these are the type of mask you can feel, there’s a slight pull when they peel off so you know that they have worked, but it’s not painful! Obviously they are for brightening so I tend to use them on ‘good’ skin days where I haven’t got breakouts. The Supermud is another one of my favourites. It’s a charcoal grey colour and smells kind of liquorice-y. It really draws out your pores and makes them look disgusting (but SO satisfying) when it’s dried. It’s a wash off mask but I don’t find myself getting messy washing it off. I think it’s quite a harsh mask on the skin, so I’m not sure if sensitive skin will appreciate it, but what do I know?

Boots Tea Tree & Witch hazel peel off face mask

Admittedly, I forgot I had this. I might chuck it away after this as it’s never used and I think I have had it a while. I got this when I first started to really like face masks and I thought I’d give it a go but saw no real difference in my skin after using it.

LUSH Mask of Magnaminty

This facemask is my EVERYTHING. It’s hands down the best mask I have ever and will ever (I think) use. I tend to use this before a night out/date night and it makes my skin feel just amazing. Makes makeup application better, calms down breakouts and oils. It just makes my skin feel so fresh and nice. It mint so smells incredible. One thing I will say is that it’s bright green and has little bits in, and it’s also thick so if you don’t like a messy mask then steer clear. It’s not a problem for me. The only problem for me with this mask is when it runs out!

PS Prep & Perfect Hydrate Priming Sheet Mask

This was a little gift from my sister, like I said before we tend to do masks together when we have the chance. As we still haven’t had that chance I will be taking this on holiday with me (or I already have, depending on when I post this!). I’ll have it as a little pick me up if my skin isn’t feeling great one day. Sheet masks I think are the easiest to travel in a plane. As it’s a priming face mask it’ll be nice to chuck on after a shower and before heading out on my holiday!

Pixi FortifEYE

I’m not sure if this counts as a ‘face’ mask but I love these little eye mask/patches. I have trouble with my eyes being tired or having creases in them when I apply makeup but I have found that since putting these on before application I don’t get as many creases as I used to. They just feel super refreshing.

Brush

This is the brush I use to apply all the liquidy masks. It’s not necessarily a face mask brush but it works really well to do the job. A little clean straight after application and it comes out like new ready for the next one.

There we have my mask collection.

Do you have any favourite masks? Do you have any of the masks that I have and what do you think of them?
