Lush Haul & Demo’s #2

I really liked the last one of these that I did and I am never usually without a stash of LUSH products for a nice bath so I thought I would do another one. I have got some new things that I have never used before so I was really excited to try them out and see what I thought! These are the bath bombs that I recently purchased! (Sorry about my gross nails in some of the pictures, I really need to make more of an effort lol).

Geode – RVP £5.95

The website says: ‘This precious geode is formed from mineral-rich salt and antibacterial sodium bicarbonate, drawing out impurities from the skin to leave it feeling thoroughly cleansed. As it cracks open with popping candy, pearl lustre escapes like fragments of agate and the water turns an eye-catching gold and pink colour. Lavender absolute and bergamot work in harmony, leaving your mind crystal clear.’

Firstly I will say, I was kind of disappointed with how this looked compared to the one on the website. The one on the website actually looked like a precious stone but the one that arrived looked a little meh and I was paying over a fiver for it so I expected more. That does not take away from how much I loved this bath bomb though. It was gorgeous, and it had some sort of popping candy kind of thing to it. It was super cool, with its pink inside surprise, and smelled lush and left the bath a beautiful colour with the smallest amount of shimmer. It wasn’t sweet like I usually like but it was lavender and I love that.

Lucky Cat – RVP £3.95

The website says: ‘This purr-fect little lucky cat is beckoning you to bathe. Fizzing into fluffy fuschia waters, multi-coloured stars burst from the centre, waving in good fortune and leaving you feline fine. A classically botanic blend of jasmine absolute, neroli and ylang ylang – this kitty is fresh, and floral, with a squeaky clean scent. You’ll leave the bath feeling brand mew.’

Honestly, I didn’t read what was in it, I saw a cat and needed it. Thank god I liked it. Again, not a sweet scent like my usual favourites but I really enjoyed it. It left my skin feeling incredible and smooth as well which was great. And again it left the bath a gorgeous colour, not pink like you’d think, and had the most beautiful shimmer.

Marshmallow World – RVP £5.95

The website says: ‘Indulge in a sugar bath scented with American Cream – you’ll get all of the sweet-shop glee and none of the post-binge guilt. Vanilla scented with a touch of strawberry, this multi-coloured marvel is a fiesta of fizz. Marshmallow powder soothes and softens, while granulated sugar adds a sugary flourish, you’ll smell good enough to eat!’

If you read my last post ( https://beththanperfect.com/2019/04/07/lush-haul-demos/ ) you’ll know that I purchased the American Cream perfume and I really like the smell of that (the play dough isn’t as prominent anymore). So when I saw that you could get the scent in a bath bomb I needed to give it a go. As you know I love my sweet scents. This smelt amazing!! It was quite a subtle smell and it had no glitter in it. It was super moisturising though. If you’re after a slightly sweet and not at all messy bomb then this if for you!

The Comforter – RVP £3.95

The website says: ‘Fizzing fast to create fruity foam of purple, pink and white, this cloud-like ball of cassis will help you unwind before you hit the hay. A merry berry blanket of blackcurrant comforts and a burst of brightening bergamot oil refreshes and resets the mind. Meanwhile, soothing cypress oil ushers in a tide of comfort and joy.’

When I saw this one I was thrilled! If you read my last post ( https://beththanperfect.com/2019/04/07/lush-haul-demos/ ) you’ll know how much I love the comforter bubble bar so when I saw this I needed it.

The Comforter Bubble Bar – RVP £5.25

I haven’t got images of these two as I spoke about the bubble bar and my love for it in my last post. I actually bought another one of these before that one had even finished but I needed it as I was doing a purchase anyway. I wont run out for a while now!

Mask of Magnaniminty – RVP £7.95 for 125g

The mask is my ride or die. The whole reason I did this purchase was because I was about to finish my 3rd tub of this. I physically would not be able to function without this mask. That might be a slight exaggeration but I really do love it so much. It does everything you need, cools, clears and preps.  I will always use this before a night out as it makes my skin feel amazing and makeup applies so nicely after. I couldn’t love this product more if I tried.
